[Maker Class] Arduino Basics

The RSVP List is full! Looks like we may have to run another Arduino Basics class ;) I'm thinking this might even become an ongoing class offering so we can get stronger with our microcontrollers.

Class: Arduino Basics
When/Where: Sat April 26th (2pm) @ The Bozeman Makerspace

Arduino Basics
We are going to take you through the concepts including digital In, digital out, analog in, analog out, serial communication and more.

We will build several circuits using LEDs, potentiometers, buzzers, servo motors and more! If you have your own Arduino Board, bring it along, otherwise we will have a few for folks to use during the class.

This class will be kid friendly, so if you are a parent and would like to see your kids learn a little about programming and electronics, this is the class for you.

We will have a sweet door prize for one lucky participant at the end of the class.

RSVP now because space might end up being limited.

Feb 20th '14 : Raspberry Pi Night & Open Hack Night

Pi Night
Feb 20th '14, 2014- 6:30 PM

Interested in the Single Board Computer called the Raspberry Pi? Learn all about this $35 hardware wonder at the Bozeman Makerspace Pi Night!

If you have your own pi, bring it along and show off what you have done with yours.

If you own a pi but don't know what to do next, bring it along and learn some of the awesome it can do. Learn how to install the operating system and connect it to some basic hardware.

We will be going over the basics of what the Raspberry Pi is, some cool hardware projects you can do with one, and maybe if we have enough interest create and give away some DIY GPIO header boards to make your interactions with the Pi a little more breadboard friendly.

All we need is enough interest and we can schedule the Pi night :)
